Solid brass door furniture
All of our door and window furniture is made out of solid brass, with selected products available from stock plated in nickel or chrome. Please check against each item the finishes available. By special order items stocked in brass only can be finished in nickel or chrome at extra cost.
Polished brass 'B'
In keeping with tradition, Drummonds' polished brass is not lacquered allowing items to age gracefully. To maintain the polished finish you will need to clean regularly with a proprietary brass cleaner such as Brasso.
Nickel 'N'
Drummonds' polished nickel is a silver coloured finish with a warmer look than the more widely available chrome finish. Polished nickel maintains its look over time with only occasional cleaning required.
Chrome 'C'
chrome is a very popular silver finish which looks beautiful in both contemporary and traditional properties. As with nickel, chrome maintains its finish over time with only occasional cleaning required.
