PATINATION
Accelerating the normal brass ageing process
Patination accelerates the normal aging process of unlacquered brass, giving it a distressed appearance. Each piece is individually treated by hand and depending on the treatment, varying colours and lustres can be achieved.
In order to best see the contrasts between finishes, we suggest that you
visit a showroom. Whether you select black, brown, green finishes, all are available matt or polished.

Prices
For the Patinated finish we charge an additional £40 per pair of door knobs, £20 per cupboard knob and £20 per escutcheon.
It is not available on every item so please check this before you order.
Brass, nickel and chrome finishes
All of Drummonds door and window furniture is made out of unlacquered solid brass. We also offer chrome and nickel finishes. See brass finishing.
